Sunsets and thoughts of rainbows

This week seems to be all gloom and doom with all the grey skies, rain and even floods that are taking over Queensland. But I was reading this morning and came across Psalm 19:1 which says

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”

I really do love the sky and can see the glory that it reveals, but this passage was a good reminder that God is in control of the skies and the floods. Even though we may not understand why he has brought such a “Noah” on Queensland... God does – which reminds me of Romans 11:33-36

“Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?” “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?” For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.”

Here are some joy bringing works of God’s hands:

Good thing we can remember that God won’t completely flood the earth again like in Noah’s day!

Until next time friendlikins!
