hello lovely friendlikins!

how are you this rainy chilly day? at least it is here in sydney australia. how's the weather where you are? it's autumn here, is it spring there? i thought i would share with you another of my {52 things before 25} projects/goals!

for those who need the low down - i'm trying to achieve 52 things this year before i turn the big 25 in december! eek! i'm getting old... it's hard to remember how old you really are when your'e friends are mostly younger than you, and when most people think you're 18 yrs old + your husband is 25. how wrong they are! anyways,  for many years - approx. 10 years, i've struggled with sickness. it's quite a long time + it has held me back in ALL the ways. but this year i'm making it an epic year of doing the things i've wanted to do + actually enjoying life + making the most of it!

without my faith in my AWESOME God i wouldn't have been able to get through it but feel so blessed for all that He taught me through it. like patience + trusting fully in Him + knowing His AMAZING character + promises are what brought me through. i really believe that He is preparing me for something great, something that will bring Him glory!

i want to make the most of the time that i have here on earth + i want to love those around me as much as i can! one way i'm going to do this is by sending lovely letters full of awesome goodies to some lovely lady friends : ) maybe you could join me in writing letters, old school style to a friendlikin too?!

happy friday! hope you're having a lovely day full of love, joy + working hard! {for the LORD, for my friendlikins out there who love Jesus}

i thought today i would share with you from my list of 52 things before 25. one of my goals before i turn 25 is to get a tattoo! i've wanted one for quite some time, but due to it's permanent nature i've had some trouble trying to decide on what i'd like, where to put it + who to ink me up. there is also the moolah factor - they aren't cheap! i've been told it's $80 just to get the needle out - eek! oh yeah + there's the pain factor too...

for my inky friendlikins out there - what did you get? did it hurt like crazy? any helpful hints + tips for an ink newbie? it would be super awesome if you could get me in the loop, as i'm eager to get inking!

hello lovely friendlikins!

for those crafty foxy ladies out there - do you spend as much time dreaming of a craft studio as i do? i had so much fun the first time, i thought i would share some more lovely things for my future studio! woot! where so you look for inspiration? what kinds of things do you like to make? i spend WAY too much time on pinterest  {is what my beautiful hubby would say}. BUT i would say it is worthwhile as it brings so much inspiration + info + ideas + progress in getting things done. whether it's being organised, planning for our dream home, learning new skills, or being open to ALL the possibilities! plus i only pin when i'm watching tv or something like that... i have A LOT of pins but i find them quite valuable.

hello ello lovely friendlikins!

how are you this fine day? hope you're enjoying the lovely sunshine : ) go on any adventures on the weekend?

tommy + i were planning on going to nelson bay for the weekend {my parents have a little apartment up there with lovely views of the ocean} which would have been perfect beach weather. but due to unknown plans + not wanting to look for a friend to look after bumble + moose {our kitties}last minute, it just wasn't possible. BUT we will be planning in advance next time.

do you like to plan things? or do you like to be spontaneous? i like a bit of both.

since i've got plenty of time to relax at home at the mo, i thought i would share my favourite colour - teal!

hello friendlkins!

happy happy joy joy to you all! hope y'all feeling fine n dandy. i am as i've been listening to CHRISTmassy tunes! sleeping at last + sufjan stevens. so as some of you may know already, it was my 24th birthday on sunday! woot! i'm getting old... what did i do on my handy dandy b'day i hear you ask. well, here's my day:

tommy + i slept in, which was quite lovely. we slowly made our way to lunch to our favourite burger shop for burgers + chippies. then we were in the car, listening to some sweet tunes on the way to carriageworks for the finders keepers markets! i was quite very excited, as i've always wanted to go but but have been sick or super busy! we perused the aisles of funky, indie, crafty stores full of lovely things mostly to look at, as they aren't cheap! BUT tommy bought me a lovely apple dress from alice nightingale. I'm getting one delivered, made to order - yay for packages!

josie joined us in out market adventures, perusing the aisles once more! then out into the gale force winds to find us some tasty tasty gelato! which was obviously from gelatomassi in newtown - its delish + my favourite place to get gelato. you should check it out - on king st newtown!

a very merry CHRISTmas to you all, friendlikins if i don't catch you round again! how's your holiday planning + CHRISTmas present finding + wrapping going? hope you have a fine + dandy holiday - make the most of the time you have to spend with friends + family, reflect on the year that has been + get excited for the year ahead! 2013 is going to be HUGE! i can feel it. God has a plan - whether its good or bad, or whether i'm happy or sad - i can trust in his unchangeable character + his AMAZING promises that He keeps! i'm excited for the ways He will change + mould me, use me + teach me. for His plans for my health, His plans for my business + for tommy's band touring, for more opportunities to love + serve my friends + family, and whatever else God has in store for us!
